A Star-Studded Introduction In Preston!

Back in October, we opened the doors to our newest royal residence — King’s Castle Preston — and what a grand celebration it was!

Following the success of our Blackburn and Haslingden branches, we brought our signature American-style diner experience to Church Street, right in the heart of Preston. After closing our Lostock Hall location, we relocated and reimagined our brand in a bigger and bolder way. The result? A stunning 60-seater diner, decked out with plush interiors, a striking 1950s Chevrolet centerpiece, and our very own ‘Walk of Fame’ paying tribute to legendary stars from the world of film and sport.

The build and fit-out came in at around £500,000, and every penny shows. Designed in the same spirit as our Darwen Street diner in Blackburn, the Preston branch brings that same King’s Castle magic — but with an even grander flair.

To mark the occasion, we rolled out the red carpet for a star-studded VIP launch event, brilliantly put together by our friends at Overtime Agency. Among the honoured guests were former world boxing champion Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom, along with Blackburn comedy legends Tez Ilyas and Shabaz Ali, beauty and lifestyle influencer Rumena Begum, and the ever-popular Food Review Club.

Guests were treated to a first look at our new menu, which includes breakfast classics, smoky BBQ briskets, and King’s Castle icons like the Darwen Donny, Philly Cheesesteak, and the famously indulgent Wagyu Pastrami Sandwich — widely believed to be the UK’s most expensive halal sandwich. Many of our menu favourites continue to be developed in collaboration with our partners at Malik Butchers, the artisan meat specialists recently featured on Channel 4’s Aldi’s Next Big Thing.

The new Preston diner is more than just a restaurant — it’s a statement of what’s possible when passion, flavour, and design come together. From a humble takeaway in Lostock Hall to this luxury destination on a soon-to-be-transformed stretch of Church Street, we’re proud to be part of a growing movement bringing bold, independent brands to the area.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch. And if you haven’t visited yet — your throne awaits!
